REVIEW: Opal (Lux #2) Jennifer L. Armentrout

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different… And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger… and they know it.

I read this is as part of the 2014 TBR Reading Challenge

What can I say? I mean, everyone already knows this is awesome. I was the one late to reading this. But let me say: THIS WAS AWESOME!

With the second book I was afraid I was going to get the typical second book I thought that as close as Katy and Daemon got, they were going to be ripped apart or Daemon would break up with Katy and there would be a lot of angst. Well that didn’t happen. It just got better. Their relationship got better and I couldn’t believe it.

With the third installment, I thought there was a chance for angst but mostly I was just content for the Daemon ride. And oh what a ride. He is one smooth talker that makes us all swoon. There was action, suspense and romance. It really couldn’t get any better.

SPOILER ALERT

I’m excited for the next one but with how Daemon and Katy were separated at the end I’m sure that this is going to be a “book two” with tons of angst. It makes me a little hesitant but I think Armentrout is going to wow me no matter what.
